"Whoa, what is this?" Cloud stared in the book.
"Cloud! Get your spiky butt into movement! That submarine's about to abandon!"
Cloud can barely hear Barret. The book enwrapped him, it looked old, like from another world. It was odd to find, as Enemy's typically morph into routine things, maybe not some old publication.
"CAAloud! Itself won't be stopped by that huge materia! Hurry up!"
Cloud broke from the novel's enchantment. He appeared up at Cid's grizzled old face.
"What the hell you look'in at that book? We gotta go!"
Cloud was nonetheless somewhat dazed when ha said, "Yeah... Tremendous Materia..." they dashed on to capture the sub.

Some time after, it had been decided by Cloud and Barret to visit Marlene in Midgar. Cloud carried across the publication he morphed in the mysterious ghost ship just like a diary, studying regular, trying to figure out its enigma.
"Cloud," Red XIII requested, "wouldn't it be better if we all landed near Kalm rather than flying straight into Midgar? Shinra will know that we are in the slums if we all fly right outdoors."
"Your proper. Head for Kalm. We'll spend the night there and then enter Midgar."
The amount 10 aviator gave him a "Righto!" and they blasted off towards the blue paved city.
"I will look around." Cloud mentioned when the celebration reached the hostel, "maybe speak to several of the locals."
As the centerpiece reactor was observed by Cloud, an old man walked up and stared at Clouds cryptic publication. "Excuse me, but might I see that book of yours son?"
"What, this old-timer? Sure, I found it... uh..."
"Do not worry me about where you discovered it, just as long as I can see it."
"Sure."
Cloud felt generous. He handed the book over as well as it was searched by the man over.
"WHY, this it! The Guidebook! BOY, I will give you some infrequent materia for this here book!"
"Really? Sure. I really don't mind losing it. What materia?"
The guy looked right into Cloud's eyes.
"Underwater materia. Powerful items." The man reached out his hand and gave Cloud the purple orb.
Cloud stared in to its centre. It gave off a beautiful purple glow.

Cloud put the submerged materia in a open slot on his Ragnorak.
After thanking the aged man he drifted to the bar and took a seat.
"What will ya have, son?" the bartender inquired.
"The specific."
"Come'in right upward. Tony, unique!"
Cloud pulled out his materia and stared at it when two troopers walked to the pub.
"Joe, round of coffee and make it quick!"
"First got it. Tony, two cups of espresso and allow it to be quick!"
The troopers sat down in a dining table behind Cloud. Cloud strived to conceal his wanted face, when they'd came in but the troopers had discovered him.
"Here ya go son. 10 gil."
The meal did not look appetizing enough for that much money, but Cloud handed the bartender the cash so as not to make a scene. He started in on what appeared edible when the soldiers came up to the tavern and sat on either side of him.
"Joe, what's taking so long with that specific coffee, huh? this support is pretty bad do maybe not ya think?" he explained, eyeing Cloud.
"Hmm... perhaps not that awful..." Cloud attempted to disguise his voice in vain.
"Hey, have I noticed you before son? Ever been down near Midgar?" the soldier on his correct inquired.
"Hmm... maybe once." Cloud understood they had him cornered.
"Here's your coffee." The bartender said placing mugs in the soldiers faces.
Cloud pulled out his sword and dropped it length wise on the bar, spilling over the soldiers' coffee saying, "Ooh, consider the time, should be heading."
When a bullet ran strait through his hair he ran for the door.

Cloud ran outside and the soldiers followed. Cloud pulled out his Ragnorak, as they circled the reactor. They troopers shot, trained and hit a wall, subsequently Cloud came in double-cuttin' them both, but dropped his underwater materia. A man who had seen the unit ran up and caught it and looked over it.
Cloud walked around and inquired, "Can I have that again? I believe it belongs to me."
"Why sure you might have it back," the man handed it outside, "'course, do you understand the way that it operates?"
"Ummm... I assume I'll need to figure it out, will maybe not I?" Cloud snatched it in the stranger's hand and turned away.
"You may never figure it out. You actually see any of these "Weapon" Creatures?"
"Weaponry? This assists against Arms? Which one?" The guy gave Cloud a sly look.
"Simply the most dangerous creature below the ocean. Ever hear the title, 'Emerald Weapon?"
